snail.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Fun composition! That shadow is just so huge in relation to the snail, like some horror movie where the shadow shows what's really inside something. Eeek, a looming snail!! That doesn't work, does it? Snails are just not scary beasts unless you are a plant. Still a fun shot. |

Wild Enough?by JuliBocComment: OMG, I started laughing when I saw the thumbnail, and the whole picture is even better! I have never seen a fledgling heron before and that "hairdo" is just a hoot. I think I need to go find a baby heron and make it mad ;-) This is GREAT! |

"and Mom says..."by tnunComment: If you glue a tripod to your jacket, you need to share a picture of the setup with us ;-)
You did catch a great moment and I'm glad you decided to post it. Pileated Woodpeckers are such awesome birds and I'm always excited to get a shot of one, but getting the baby framed by the nest opening is a one in a million shot. |

Day 4: Heronby bobonacusComment: Such lovely birds. Nice light on him and I love the irises in the background. |

King of the Concrete Jungleby fantomfotoComment: Very cool shot; the golden lighting suits him perfectly. The King has a scratch on his nose :-( Maybe he annoyed the Queen one too many times. |

Poppies by JondorComment: The poppies and their stems are interesting, but are not as sharp as they could be, and the vase looks OOF to me. I'd also suggest cropping out the water on the bottom and leaving some more space on the top if you've got it. |

The Summoningby AlexSaberiComment: That's a wonderful tree you've found. Not sure the orange clouds are really working for me; they take away too much from the tree. |
