What ARE You Looking At?by karmatComment: Cute perspective. Lighting looks rather flat and I would have preferred some background context to add depth. |

Flies Eye Viewby jhomrighausComment: Quite the macro, especially given the proximity to Halloweentime. Photographically I would prefer more DOF; the OOF legs bother me a little. I think I'd like maybe a slightly different angle, so the web and legs were sharp and then focus fell off as the eye wandered to more of the spider.
Also (here it comes!) a bug isn't going to get my highest vote in this challenge, given the description and the competition. |

Join the Crowdby eaglebeckComment: Gregarious things, aren't they? Catching one in flight is a nice addition to the image. Focus looks sharpest on the reflection under the big group instead of any of the birds themselves, so a little more DOF might have been better to get all the birds in focus, or focus on one (maybe the landing one) and let the others drop out of focus a little. |

Up Close and Personalby fantomfotoComment: I can't say as I care for the cyan hue. You've got nice detail here but the color is just not doing anything for me. |

Watching and waitingby MilesWComment: He's pouffed! I don't usually see them quite this compact ;-) Nice detail and the red in the background is a beautiful complement to the white. |

Wild Duckyby samanwarComment: Pretty duck! I love the teal on her wing and the similar color of the water, and that is one strong reflection. |

Elk of the Canadian Rockiesby PhotoDaveComment: Contentedly chewing and apparently not at all threatened by a photographer's interest ;-) His antlers are getting a little lost in the branches back there; some background-blurring would make him stand out even better. |

The Nut Collectorby timwest167Comment: Very nice squirrel shot :-) Nice earth tones and a really cool bump in the tree he's sitting on. |

Call Of The Wildby rinacComment: He looks a bit peeved. Maybe more than a bit ;-) Great pose and composition. Blues, greens and yellows look oversaturated on my monitor. |
