He's looking at us! Surprising how often they do that; I didn't realize till I started doing a lot of macro shots of butterflies. Very nice detail on this guy.

Colors in the sky are great and purple is the best color ever, so I have no problem with that ;-) The tilt is a little alarming, like the buildings are about to slide out of the frame!

This brings back the first time I saw this memorial in person. If you know anything at all about the conflict and the memorial you just can't help being drawn into the sadness of all those deaths as the names on the wall just keep coming. My father was the navigator on missions bringing some of those kids back to the States for burial ... hell of a job.
