The Hummingbird Exhibitby Carlo21Comment: Image is a really good capture of the moment. I like the idea of having educational text on a poster (zoos do that sort of thing) but I'm not sure about the positioning of it all, especially the two bottom parts left justified when the top is center justified ... just feels unbalanced to me. Also, I think green for the background would be more attractive than that shade of brown. |

- Grace & Power -by andrewtComment: Great shot (look at the muscles on that cat!!). Not a big fan of that font (might have used something different for at least one line of the text) but the wording is perfect for the image, so overall, really well done. |

Africa Liveby SandyPComment: I love that the elephant is busy instead of just standing around. Works perfectly with the text, as does the gradient fill. |

Honolulu Zoo by JovanComment: Nicely captures both the cheetah and some rather stunning scenery. I would not have guessed this was taken in a zoo. |

Wild Thingby k9logicComment: Agree with the sentiment and it's a cute and well-shot photo ... but a bit of a stretch for this challenge. I would have at least used a lizard or some other exotic animal rather than a kitten. |

OPEN DAILYby tfarrell23Comment: I thought they took all the "farm" birds out to Front Royal because of West Nile or something? Nice kiddie font and color to go with the other requisite DC zoo text. I might lighten up the duck some and clone out what looks like either a piece of dry grass or or, um, her peeing on the "I" in Kids ;-) |
