OH boy........ I'll cross fingers for you with this one. My immediate reaction was: "Huh? Why odd couple? Perfect match, more like it!!!" Then I studied it some more and noticed the mismatch..... not easy to see. I do like it a lot, but perhaps you should have made it a bit more obvious.

This wouldn't have been my choice of interpretation for "odd couple", but I see where you're coming from, so I'll accept it as "on topic".
The photo itself is great! You got the timing spot on to achieve just the right amount of transparency. Perhaps the composition could be improved, but the scene and "props" are great !!!! The light and muted colors are wonderful. 8
