I love the inclusion of the snow board!!! It adds another point of interest, as well as a little splash of color.
I also happen to like the lens flares.
Did you hold a graduated ND filter over the foreground snow?

What a clever idea! THat IS spaghetti, right?
I wonder if using a color other than red (or perhaps even several others) would have paired up even nicer with the red vase. Perhaps not.......
The white balance doesn't look quite right.

You have a functional photograph of two types of brushes (which actually makes them somewhat "related"), but in a very static composition - there is nothing going on to make it interesting, and the dull, even lighting doesn't help, either.

The idea is certainly valid for this challenge, but I don't care for the terribly harsh flash lighting, nor the busy floor and background.
