Day 14: Reflectionby WildcardComment: Oh my.... the first thought that popped into my head was "Scarlett O'Hara" - and that is a HUGE compliment!

Day 7: Once Upon A Dreamby WildcardComment: I'm impressed! If I had tried to do this, it would have just looked like some tacky piece of Kitsch, but you did a wonderful job! I think much of the success is in its balance - the opacity of the various components/layers. |

Downtown illuminatedby alphadogA100Comment: Nice reflections, but I wish it was straight.
That lean isn't enough to be "artistic", but plenty enough to be very distracting. |

A Drop of Roséby HighNoonerComment: Normally I don't like being pm'ed about a comment, but this is an exception. I can't quite figure out what I'm looking at, and I think my vote would be fairer if I did.
If you like, please help me out and let me know what is going on in this photo. |

Todays Paper - Tonights Coverby SDWComment: I don't know why it should even bother me, but my brain keeps repeating "HDR Photomatix HDR Photomatix..." at me :-(
However, in some way I DO love this version. It is a wonderful shot, and the post processing is allowing it to show off every little detail. I am getting so much more out of this one than the b+w.
This image is one of those rare gems that want me to keep looking at it in great length and detail.
I also noticed the HUGE difference the bigger size is making !!!!!!!

Transformationby CalamitysMaster00Comment: Unless I am very much mistaken, this image was not disqualified because of " a lighting issue", but because you "morphed" parts of his body.
You were creating things that weren't there before, which is a no-no. I bet everyone (as per challenge comments) thought you had achieved this look via props and make-up rather than post-processing. |

Leaf Studyby photokariangelComment: Normally I don't like seeing black & white for subjects that are MEANT to be colorful (such as flowers or fall leaves). In this case, however, I quite like the treatment. I guess it is because of the side lighting, bringing out the texture so well. |
