The Nutcrackerby hazelmayComment: The lighting was not your friend here. In addition I'm guessing you may not have had the time to use your tripod, so we end up viewing a very blurry animal. |

why hello.by amandapaige119Comment: Good idea but the lighting is way off and the colours distorted byt he redish tinge. I would have cropped the bottom 1/3 of the image, tried fill flash and worked to remove the red with selective colours (if you have photoshop) |

ICUby Rando D300Comment: The lighting was not your friend in this instance. Too harsh on one side, to dark on the other. Also the focal poin should have been the face, not the top of the pole. Nice feathers though. |

reaching the skyby LoreComment: Great location and sky. The image is rather flat though. I'd have worked with selective colours (if you have photoshop) to bring out the blues and whites more. |

Barking Up The Wrong Treeby gsmooreComment: Beautiful, beautiful tree. I love the way the branch reaches out. You've captured the whispyness well. The image lacks great lighting (and sharpness) on the truck though. |

Pooh Sticksby jonfrommkComment: Not sure what the title is conveying - may be a cultural joke? Anyway, this image is suffering from lack of lighting. Much of the details are lost, and from the shake I can see I doubt you've used a tripod. |

SkyWheelby rileyComment: Great subject for this image. I love the two distinct colours and wide perspective. |

Juno Reactor #3by damoscComment: Oh WOWS - great capture. This is a situation where having the subject lean works.
I would LOVE to have seen what could have been achieved here with a more liberal set of challenge rules - in it's own right it's as grungy as can be - YIPPEE! |

Sheet Pile Hammerby raishComment: Fantastic suject and location, I ike ow the hammer mirrors the building's panel of windows.
However the image suffers because I suspect you didn't use a tipod and was unuable to control the shake. |
