Wiredby MikeOComment: I'm not a big fan of adding noise to a photo, but this composition pulls it off well. Good job. 8. |

Jediby ShaneBlakeComment: The blue edge on the border is a nice touch to add a bit of color to an image with lots of black and dark brown. Nice shot. |

Eye Spyby scalvertComment: I figured it would be above a 6. I gave it a 6. Very nice colors and the bokeh is really good. The picture was just a bit too busy for my tastes. I found my eye traveling all over the place on it. Very respectable score, but I understand we all have our bars/expectations set in different places.
Mine got a reality check this morning in one of the new challenges.
Keep up the creativity. You are a very talented photographer. |

Autumnby deanaComment: Border is just a bit too thick IMO, but I don't count off for that. Nice image. 9. |

Grrrby TaylorMComment: You have likely gotten a number of these, but I believe this was entered in the wrong challenge and thus is a DNMC entry which generates a score of 1. If it had been entered in the portrait in landscape challenge, it would probably be a 5 IMO. The bokeh is very nice in the back, but the yellowed highlights on the right side of the image are a bit blown out (over exposed).
I'm sure the subject means a lot to you and that is what is important. Photography is so subjective and on portraits, we generally film those that move us. It is hard for someone who knows nothing of the subject to make that connection so it becomes very important that the technical aspects of the photo are right on. I have a lot of post-processing learning ahead of me so please just treat these comments as merely one viewers opinion. |

The Leaves Are Falling All Around by jtlee321Comment: I like this shot a lot. Wonderful color contrasts on the yellows and greens, nice lighting in the background. I think I would have preferred a faster shutter as I'm not a huge fan of the long shutters on water giving the foamy look. 9. |

Depth of a Fieldby Reservoir DogComment: I'd give more points if this were in the bokeh challenge, but the subject (grass/wheat) is just not strong enough to carry the photo. 5. |
