Dreamby AleciaComment: Scores like this make me want to boycott this site. This is an unbelievable photo of a beautiful face. Maybe it's not everyone's style, but scores like that just confirms that left to their own devices, people are stupid.
This is beautiful.
**edited later once I wasn't so peeved: ok, so people may not be stupid so much, but I get tired of all the "inside the box" voting. Message edited by author 2004-06-28 03:37:11. |

darkself.jpgby theodor38Comment: you know, generally i don't like this kind of thing, but this is awesome. I could do without the semi-transluscent border, but the balance is very cool. if I ever figure out what is different about it, I'll let you know. but for whatever reason, it seems like you've pushed it far enough to make it work.

Mother and Sonby heidaComment: I always burn my edges to bring out the subject too. I think it's a good practice, and you've made that part of your signature on many fabulous photos. The only bits you maybe overdid were on the blue sky part, since the burning always turns out grey. A little dodging on the dark horse might have livened him up a little too. Nice perspective, and nice the the horses posed for you like that :) Great shot

Kintla Lake by jodiecostonComment: You put those 8 megapixels to good use Jodie. I've been to that lake (and a hundred others like it) and never made them look this good. well done.

Brickhengeby dsidwellComment: In browsing your portfolio David, this is about the 20th image that made me smile at the creativity. The ideas are sensational, and the execution usually matches.
I hope you enjoy shooting these as much as I enjoy looking at them.
