shot through one of those eletrostatic glass globey things? fantastic execution either way (I assume someone will think this is spot edited, but I suspect not). Too bad you couldn't get the eye crisper, but I'm thinking that would be very difficult shooting through the glass. great shot.

I'd have metered this to the building, not the sky. A little photoshopping would do it too - lighten a bit, contrast up a bit... I really like the lines on this; kind of does the optical illusion thing. just my opinion. :)

how did you light this? It looks like it might be with a single yellow spot. for some reason the light is very subdued, so your colors look flat. The black backdrop won't help because it's non-reflective, so using a diffuser (even a thin piece of paper) and a brighter light might help. That would also help with the hot spot on the apple. Filters can help with the flat color, but I find it's easier to do some post-process adjusting in photoshop or some equivalent.

there have been lots of these cell phone/sunglass combos, but yours is the best one so far. nice job - crisp picture, good hue shift, controlled shadows and reflections. I like it. even the border...despite my general dislike for borders :)

nice title. and I love pleasure island. and I love blues. the picture, however, is a bit of a stretch to meet the primary color idea. Great capture of an indoor concert though. very tough to do.
