Boatby JourneyComment: guess you got that 255 sky thing figured out. nice job. i wonder how much work was done to this out of the camera...really like the contrasty look of it. curious to see how it looked right out of the cam. great pic. |

Falling-into-Dream02by timj351Comment: Awesome Tim. obviously a pretty long exposure - how long? and did you use a ND filter? Only a little blown out at the top of the falls, which is incredible considering this has to be at least a half-second exposure in plain daylight. details, please...

Hopperby JackoComment: Dude, this is awesome. Your NB hoppers are way better looking than the Prairie ones out here in AB. I love this picture. Too bad there were a number of great entries in this one. You always seem to do your best work at the same time as everyone else...Purple looks good on you though.

Lonesomeby ArtifactsComment: This is one of the few shots that actually comes close to feeling desolate to me. Very nice job with your camera and your dictionary :) I'd like to see this in DPCPrints later...I'm a bit fan of it. AZ?UT?NV? |

Beautiful Freakby GedsComment: Great shot Alastair. I disagree - I think the sky is perfect; sets a definite mood amongst the other colours. good work.

Going Up? by dsidwellComment: Glad you weren't arrested. You'd best be framing this, David. I really like the lines in this - challenge aside it's a great photo with an abstract quality to it. You've a got a great eye.

Broken Homeby NazgulComment: Very very good shot. I love the fact that you left he blue in above the window frame. It adds a whole new element to the pic that would have been lost with a tighter crop. |

Peek by AleciaComment: magic. love this pup's eyes. this is the best crop you could have chosen IMO...keeps the pup where he belongs...off centre. he's trying to check things out without being too obvious. I'm sure if I knew wha tthe rule of thirds was, this would fit, but i really don't know, so never mind.
love the drapes too - props to whoever suggested you include that.
should place high.
