Path to Gardenby paynekjComment: nice 'angle' on the challenge. no really - i like the way you've angled this pic - the middle bricks turned out like little arrows. well done. |

Where The Pacific Endsby ellamayComment: if you bump the contrast just a weeeee bit up and the lightness down a weeee bit you'll lose those little highlights on the horizon. I'd like to see it with full-on dark/light contrast between the elements. nice thought adding the benches in. Pedro |

Cold Steelby PDavisComment: if yours is anything like mine it's getting hammered for being too literal ;). I like your shot. not to thrilled with the border, but i like the textures of the knife and orange. |

common frogby andygoughComment: i like this, though I'd have taken it from a more head-on angle...not straigt head on, but towards the front. the shallow depth works since you hit your focal point bang on.nice texture on the frog. Pedro |

Green and Black Springy Thingby dsa157Comment: nice take on an odd subject. way overdone on the border. colour and depth are nice...use of neg space also nice. i have no idea what you'd do with such an object. Pedro |

Sunbathing beeby HoogieComment: damn you people who live in places warm enough to still have bugs. or did you freeze one like jacko? anyway - this is great...similar to things done by the likes of Crabappl and quadrajet very successfuly in the past (if memory serves). love the crop - seems to comply with rule of thirds (though i hate rules)...colour is inviting, and the focus is spot on. I see this doing very well this week. |

Massive Nutby dirtkahunaComment: who you callin a massi...oh...never mind. nice pic - i like the shallow depth...makes a rather mundane subject a little obscure. minimal border is nice also. compositionally it is a bit of a stretch...i guess i'm trying to say i'd like to have a reason OTHER than a macro challenge to be looking at this...although i have yet to find it in this challenge. :) technically right on the money - great job. |

Red & Greenby Spork99Comment: you were right...it IS the colors of christmas :) i like it...one of the few true macros in the challenge. i like the contrastiness (i know, not a word). very edgy...literally - i like that. great job.
