Life's Edgeby spectre013Comment: i feel like i should make a viagra joke here, but something is stopping me..common sense perhaps?
anyway, fantastic lighting. topic seems a little obvious, but still fits the challenge. maybe a little more negative spaceabove the pills? just a thought.

Painter and his paintingby reonbComment: just a little extra contrast would make this very haunting. as it is, it almost looks like a very fortunate mistake ;) i like it, but it feels a little washed out or something.

Edge of the Worldby beachhopprComment: colours look a little off...maybe just JPG artifacts, or maybe you just oversaturated a little with the intent of making those objects stand out. nice job |

Burning Edgeby alexvoloComment: two little points that I'll make, and only because this was a 'studio' type shot that gives you the freedom to setit up 'just so...'.
anyway, the thermometer is a little bit rotated (maybe just the way it had to be), and cropping off the bottom of it throws the balance off a little. I'd have left a little foreground i think.
anyway - nice colour, and good idea.

Canyon Lake Damby JC_HomolaComment: nice. great colour, and i love the diagonal line this makes.i'd have preferred you crop out the foreground i think, but only because the rough lines of the rock disrupt the beautifully smooth lines of the pier for me. either way, i like it.

Gated Beautyby channeledComment: snow is really hard to expose...it confuses the cams for the most part - overexposes snow, and underexposes everything else. Fill flash is a great way to avoid it, but certainly not fool proof. best bet is to expose the snow, and adjust the rest later in PS or something. if it were a MEMBER'S challenge you could do it ;)
good luck,

City Glowby CANiSLAYuComment: one of my fav's so far. the glow makes the shot, and easiely overshadows the blown out part of the buildings. very well done. Pedro |
