Into the Woodsby SJCarterComment: This is great work. The key being that you started with a well composed and balanced shot of an interesting tree. I can see many people trying something like this with not nearly as good an outcome. |

Passing Timeby beamsclanComment: I'm sure this was not intended but the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was shooting heroin. The composition is excellent but it is the colors that make this shot tremendous. Especially the unexpected turquouise that wouldn't work at all if it didn't appear in two places. Whoever had that color lipstick on smooching the wall had really big lips. |

Drainby persimonComment: I do enjoy this image. The composition is reminiscent of a child drawing those corner suns that only a child could draw but in this case reality has morphed that sun into a grungy city drain. I would suggest rotating your point of view to crop after the word park or the & symbol. The re is just not working for me. It may be that I just have a thing for whole wor
Although I can see why you composed it the way you did and it is excellent. Don't know if that was a possibility. Message edited by author 2006-03-10 01:32:38. |

Uprootedby macrothingComment: On tenth look I have to wonder how I am the only person who has this in my favorites because it does indeed look more like art than a photo. |

He Waited.by moniepennyComment: I wish this was shot in landscape orientation to allow more room on the side of the guy on the stairs and to balance the composition. With a less cramped feeling this would easily be my favorite photo in the challenge. |
