Nataliaby dimitriiComment: I love this shot. It is perfect! Great pose of the model, great lighting and composition and great choice for black and white. The only things I might change in a touch up are the specks on the white wall and the shadow on the leg. Still, it's fine the way it is. Great job. I hope the exposition in Brookyln goes well. |

Nataliaby dimitriiComment: Dimitrii: I like the highkey effect (or whatever you want to call it) a lot in this photo as well as the other one. It gives the photos a nice imperfect artists look and imply the possible harshness of portrayed beauty. The cigarette is a nice touch. Does anyone actually use a cigarette holder thing anymore? I'm not sure, but it does give an old feeling that makes the images timeless. I would have liked to see the hand in this shot, especially since it's leaning on something. It gives the photo a sense of unbalance when it is not included. |

Primary Oak by TarbiniComment: I'm not a member yet so I can't vote on this challenge. If I could you'de be getting a 10. I looked at all the other pictures and this is the only comment I'm giving. If you don't win I'll shit myself! Great Job. This might be my favorite picture I've seen yet on here. I must remember to come back and mark it as a favorite on Sunday. |

I Denied Him!by GraciousComment: Very emotive shot. i'm not sure you meant it in the way that i took it recognizing the statue as a crying buddha. Great composition and tone. The red light seems more angry than despairing to me as well, but it also suggests the fires of hell which is good. I would have liked to see such a powerful image in slightly more powerful spotlighting, especially to get rid of the border crease. It would have been really awesome to shine the only light through the cross, especially since you already had the red valentine's wrap out! Message edited by author 2003-03-04 03:35:59. |

Désespoirby soldatbigrasComment: I like it. It seems a bit blurry, but perhaps that's the camo background messing with my eyes. 6 |
