Intersting colors! It's also interesting what you desided to desaturated and what you left in color...IMO you did a little bit too much burning/dodging on the face, but it's kind of interesting.

Nice capture! It would probably help if the photo was a tiny bit bigger - I almost always go right to the limit with the size on my photos, since the voters don't seem to really like the smaller shots. Also the color looks a little off - her hair is all black, with a little bit of almost green. (which I'm guessing is not it's real color! :) ) So... I wonder if there's anyway to fix that? It would be cool to experiment around in photoshop and give it a try. But a neat shot! Hope your camera didn't get too wet! :)
