Oh, I love it! The subtle lighting is just glorious, and I'm always a sucker for gold and deep black like this. :) The details are fabulous. I'm guessing it'll get bombed by voters for being a low key image, but I personally love low-key. Excellent shot.

Well... the lighting looks a little harsh, and it doesn't seem like it's in really good focus.... but this is an awesome idea! Also the middle bird's face is kind of covered by a twig or something. It makes it kind of distracing, but I understand that you might not have wanted to get to close to that sharp beak to move it! I really like the composition you have here htough - it's cool. Good try!
