intensityprint.jpgby SonifoComment: How did you do this? Ereka! I LOVE this. I n t e n s e truely is the right word to describe it. The way the gold light glimmers on the hills and on the grass is awesome. This image is just bursting with subtle power. Totally glorious. |

Rainby TUBORGComment: Gasp. The smoothness of the tones and the desaturated colors and shadows create an intense atmosphere of grief and mourning. Brilliant work. |

horse running.jpgby TUBORGComment: I love the clariety of the details. I feel as if I could reach out and touch the horse's silky muscles, run my fingers through his whispy mane, and brush my hand over the feathery grass. Lovely, lovely contrasts and tones. Beautiful image. |

In The Kitchenby mileswilliamsComment: Extremely powerful. The composition, the shadows, and the way the light plays on her face draws my attention immediately to that eye. The blue tones are glorious, and the color harmony you have here - with a touch of blue glinting in the background, the blue shirt, and the blue eye - is fabulous. It is maybe a little dark, but I like the low-key effect so much. Wonderful image. |

Aloneby jeroweComment: I was looking at your solo entry, and the other outtakes you had... This is my personal favorite. The colors are so vividly sweet, with those subtle shadows melting into the summer yellows of the flower and the orange glow on the butterfly. And... something about the quality of the detail. I guess it isn't necessarily the sharpest of images, but something about the focus maybe... is just so clear. Beautiful image! |

Satellitesby e301Comment: My guess is that this got this score because few people stopped long enough to see the trick...When I first looked at it, I couldn't figure out why it got a posthoumous ribbon. But eureka when I looked closer!!! This is brilliant work, and certainly does deserve that ribbon. Just goes to show how much more careful we voters should be. :) Excellent, excellent shot. Amazing illusion. |

And the forest turned to silver...by HaneckComment: Thank you for the critique! I definitely agree that this could use some more cropping... I was having trouble with that tree on the right of the photo - when I cropped it down to a nicer size the tree looked really wierd. Thank you very much for your helpful input! |
