I am sorry to say but I just don't see a lot of photography in this one. I know it is expert editing, but it does say voters will rate based on the photographic nature and I don't see much. I am sorry but I can't rate this very high because I don't find the subject very interesting, or the photographic element to outweight the digital art.

At first I was going to say that a polarizer would have helped the glass relfection, then I thought maybe it adds to the picture. then I read borders and Nick Santora and decided that the reflections are a distraction that I would have avoided. I also think it would have been better if you didn't repeat the clones. The girl in white and pink are duplicated and that ruins the them for me. Still a clean image so I will vote higher than my comments my suggest.

I can see the challenge here, but I am not thrilled by this. I find it somewhat boring. If your goal was to show a battleworn sci-fi gun then you should have focused on that. Instead I see a bright spot with a gun next to it.

My eyes are all over the place on this one trying to find out what to concentrate on. I like the contrast in colors, but other than that the photo really doesn't speak to me, especially consideering the challenge.

I would have liked this more if your flying machines were in focus (well at least one of them) and the gtrass was more out of focus. Nice textures in your sky though.

Too bad this isn't the E model. The E model is a darker grey with no blue on it. It is also a two seat aircraft. The rear seat is occupied by the Weapons Systems Officer. Since the jet is capable of unleashing hell in both the air and on the ground the second seat is much needed.

Awesome shot James, the only thing I might would change is make sure your horizon is level. Doing so would also give the aircraft a greater angle of attack and make it all the more badass!

Mock religion? that is why this was scored so bad? Lets look at what used to be the 17th place finish until they found out it was a stolen image. a picture of a sexy woman dressed in a plastic nun outfit. Isn't that a mockery of religion? but it deserved 17th place? Where is the justification in that?

And if you want to mock religion look at religion itself. Catholic priests molesting alter boys. Muslims blowing themseleves and others up in the name of Allah. Christians killing millions of Jews for, uh, oh yeah, no reason. Religion does a good enough job of mocking themsleves to the unreligious people that this picture's take on religion should not be offensive to anyone. Clean up your own house before you start looking at someone else's. Or if you would prefer don't thropw stones in a glass house, or let he who has not sinned cast the first stone.

My profile picture? So what? Are you offended by a picture of a bird? If that is the case then you might want to get rid of the internet and tv and move to a commune. My screw-you attitude? It isn't a screw you attitude, it is a picture of a guy racing a motorcycle who tosses the bird as he flies around the corner at 70 mph. As a motorcyclist myself I am impressed by his abilities and used it for my picture. But I had to crop it for the profile image. I make no apologies about that.

I hear your priest calling you. You better turn off your computer and tend to his wishes.

Here is another case in point where the voters of DPC just plain suck. There is no way this deserves to get the brown. I personally think it is the most creative image in the lot. You deserve credit for that. It is also well executed. This picture does not copy everyone else who took photos of someone acting like they were praying with a cross in their hands. Or some religious place where people worship. If youbelieve that being in this position is any less religious then being in a church and preying to god then you are dillusional!

Many people in this world have serious problems that lead them to this kind of situation. With that many of them ask for god. Why is that any different then fakes and phonies that go to church every Sunday thinking it will get them into heaven?

Just because a photo is disgusting it deserves a 1? I am sorry but not all photographs are of appealing subjects. Maybe you can share your rose colored glasses with everyone so they only photograph pleasant things in life.
