The Long Way Homeby vawendyComment: I like the simplicity of this and the expressions. You managed the exposure quite well. Composition isn't bad, but watch your framing. This would be far more effective had the bottom of the photo not been cut out of the shot when shooting. You don't need all of the trees in the background. Maybe framed to go through the middle of the top branch in the upper left, still keeping part of it for effect, but including all of the feet and the wheels. Or, frame with top being directly above the bottom branch. This would also make the top of the fence not a dead center horizon. :) |

The Sous Chefby Brent_SComment: Love all of the posters on the wall and the broken concrete. Timing was perfect as the light hit the jacket wonderfully! The random artwork on the posters compliments the starkness of the jacket. |

Saying a prayerby Tommy_MacComment: The idea is good. Watch the forward/backward tipping of the camera when shooting. This will help with the perspective issues. |

Constrastby mrchhasComment: I really like this shot and I think it works well for the challenge. The only negative is the shadow on the head of the man in the foreground. It looks like a black hole, lol. I had to zoom in to see if he had a giant eye patch! That is a minor ding! Great capture. |

In the bathby manavgComment: Ok, I understand the "top down" aspect as Henri likes, but the shot looks a bit under exposed. For the sake of interest, IMHO, you might have placed the child more to the left side of the frame and included all of the round drain on the right in the frame (if possible). This would have complimented the round of the bucket. I would love to see you try reshooting this and see how it turns out. As is, it tells me nothing as isn't very interesting. Having said that, the child is quite cute! ;) |

Nodding at the Sunby LydiaComment: I love how the slender stems make the flowers look like they are reaching for the sun. Love the black and white of this one. |
