Iwo Jima Memorialby allizoeComment: Nice concept and composition. The lighting looks a bit harsh. I like the black and white, but the tones are just a touch flat. :) |

Yes!by bledfordComment: Good composition. For a black and white, your tonal range needs to be pushed just a bit. More true white and richer black. This can be done through curves. I like your model's pose. |

To the victor goes the spoilsby ScapeshotsComment: This is VERY nice. Your colors and lovely. Your detail and composition are very good. The textures of the stone in the chess board add interest as well as texture the the shot and the simples pieces are thus complimented. Very nice lighting. |

YEAH!!!; ,,, my first ribbon at DPC!by OculusComment: No one throws a handbag....
This is a riot! Love the colors and the composition. Photo looks a shade dark. Might be able to push the levels up a bit to brighten the subject.

The Final Setby jblaylockraynerComment: Great detail and nice idea. Wish the net were a touch more "invisible". A shorter DOF would have done this I believe. Great colors. If you use the rule of thirds when placing your subject, you may get a little more interesting composition. :) |

Girl Powerby doctabrezComment: Nice shot. In our college television classes this was called a "nostril shot". This angle gives the appearance of dominance and power, but not the most flattering for people (and especially us girls!) ;PNice idea. |

Marching with the Big Boysby landcameraComment: Cute shot! You might have been able to crop tighter on the top and a smidgeon the right to make the little guy even more prominent. The light is a tad harsh as the shirt sleeve looks blown a little. But, the shadow on his face is still good. Perhaps stop down one notch to richen the colors a bit or even just play with the levels a tad. Darling capture. |

Applause Please!! by nutzitoComment: Love the color and the detail!! Not to keen on the light in the upper right corner. Your border works well. Are these your neighbors? :P This is a cool shot. |
