flowingby saltwatershotsComment: This is a very nice composition, but there is nothing very sharp in the photograph to focus on. Your water has a great diagonal movement from corner to corner, but the color tone is more sepia feeling, where my brain makes me normally think blue...cooler. I'd like to see the color version. |

Down by the riverby PixelstateComment: I think I would have aimed the focus at the top of the grass and let the rest blur out. Right now your focus is on the base of the stocks and isn't so interesting. Sorry. |

River Wandleby DistantColoursComment: The colors in this shot are very nice! Youve framed the waterfall well with the foreground. Wondering if you've taken too much noise out of the pool as it looks a touch flat, yet background and foreground are tack sharp. (What do I know...)Beautifully done. |

Wrong season for small creeks!by korpenComment: The is perfect. Your DOF makes the background gently fad into nothing, thus drawing you into the immediate tree line in front. I'm glad you chose NOT to make this black and white as it's beautiful in color. Wonderful detail. |

Morning on the Upper Bowby Len ScapComment: This is lovely. I'm detecting a hint of a color shift though. The tree serves as framing, but I think it takes away from the beauty of the shot. I would try cropping it more or maybe crop it out completely? Just a thought. Very nice photograph. |

Early Thawby notesinstonesComment: This appears a bit dark on my monitor (and I'm sure it is just my monitor). This has such a comforting look to it. You've done a wonderful job on the water flow...and the details of the stone wall are excellent. I wish the lacy pines across the way showed a bit more. Nice place. Nice photogrqaph! |

Bronx River Fallsby EssAreDubyaComment: I like the shadows and the light play on the right of the photograph. Perhaps using a touch longer exposure and you would gently blur the water movement to better contrast with the very sharp surroundings. Nicely frames. |

Who's there? by timfythetooComment: Way to go on yet another blue. I love the high key image here and the detail is razor sharp. Well done. |
