Chemo Day #1by colorcarnivalComment: My prayers for a successful treatment & goodwishes too. JOY. Nicely done, simplely beautiful & clear as a bell. Love those eyes. |

Reflectingby MaryOComment: Yes, a wonderful face. A little shred of time, deftly caught by you. The noise does not obscure interesting detail, & adds to the impact. The BW tones & general appearance remind me of those old-timey collodion photographs made directly on glass. I would never guess it was a reflection in window glass. Well done! |

Nobilityby lynnesiteComment: Sweet. Very horsey. Someday you will get one where the skin is as smooth as Italian marble & it will make you famous. |

Helloby MelethiaComment: huzzah! very well done for all the reasons everyone said. I did not notice the face until the end, though. I wonder what that means? |

Caught by the Stormby mindbottlingComment: Sweet. I like the enigma of his expression, and the glow of the light, and the way the umbrellas break up the space. Oh, and also the non-DPC-friendliness of it. Fav! |

Lifeby e301Comment: This reminds me of turtles on a log (hehe). The clipped shadows make the arrangment of people-parts seem as random & unmoving as the cigarette butts. |

It's Her Bench During The Winterby J-MeComment: This is my pick for Best in Show. It was the little puffs of frozen snow on the ground that did it, combined with the interesting, uncompromising gaze of the Cat. The contrast is wonderful & the colors are perfectly balanced. 10 |

Front Row, Lakeside...by NikonJebComment: There are many beautiful views in the world & many benches placed to rest & enjoy them. This is my pick for the best of the best of this category of bench. I like it for the tones & the placement of detail. It feels familiar & new at the same time. 10 |
