Day 17 - Pomegranate

Oh, they are so good to eat. You can bite into them just like an apple, chew it up for a while, & then spit out the remains--all you want is the juice. Better to eat outdoors, very messy & juicy. Looks like your light is working out great for you--what will you shoot next?

What nice face, he looks like a character (not easy to see in poor light, either). Maybe you can get a shot on one of those bright moonlit nights of New Mexico--the silver tips to his fur would light up real well by moonlight. This is a beautiful portrait. Well done!

This is fun! My first impression was the front grill of an automobile. LOL. Thi is fun, because I discovered it as I looked. Those feet are hilarious! I'm glad you're having fun with this. You can put the glowing edges filter on a separate layer, set the blend mode to PIN light, flatten, select/copy, go back 3 steps, insert, & set blend mode to Multiply or Soft Light. This has an interesting effect.

The look very juicy! and shiny, too. I don't mind your reflection, but it'd be fun to try for something else. You could try shooting a mirror that reflects the berries. [eta] I like the holiday red, it looks good next to my shot on the page-- "D.
