Red rust & green grass make a nice color combination. Farm machinery makes a nice still life, if you can get a good camera angle, which you did. Nice shot.

Backyard boat

Late-afternoon light, I'm guessing. I like the contrast between the boat & the very dark BG. Especially the way the light hits the little clump of grass at the bak of the boat. The boat leads my eye out of the picture, but the direction of the shadows draws me back in. I agree, NICE!

I like the camera angle making the glass lead my eye to the window. A day full of fun & adventure seems to be waiting outside. Or maybe I'm just feeling optimmistic? Reminds me of when I was a kid, I would leave the last bit of everything on my plate or in my glass.

The black hairline edge on the L & Top -- intentional? Checking my calibration more than anything else, but I see a slight green or blue tint to the fur in the areas where I expect to see shadowed white or off-white. I like this candid pose & the nice focus & DOF. ROAR! [eta] I think maybe I make pickier comments when I'm in editing mode myself. "D
