Hanging inby DigiFotoBuddyComment: Unusual crop, with the free seed almost hanging from the top edge & the long stem. Love the light on the white dandelion fluff & the lovely bokeh. |

i c e d b e a u t y by nivlekComment: I've gazed at this for a while. I admire the luscious colors & the fine detail. To my eye, the interesting part of this flower is the purple tips emerging from the pink buds, so for me the focal point is off by just a little bit. That's why I gazed at it for so long, I was trying to make it be about the texture details. |

The Lady in the Lampby JudiComment: This resists all my attempts to understand, explain, or even comment on it, it is so awesomely amazingly brilliant. I looked at it for 10 min. before I saw the 4th lamp. The mirror (I think it is a mirror?) is a stroke of genius. If I could give it 10 twice, I would. |

Dualityby DrAchooComment: I'm not making this up: I had a dream a bout this photo last night. I was painting hot-pink and dayglo-lavender, & lime green on this with an airbrush. Of course I often dream in post-processing terms, but this is a first. "D |

A Single Grain by ekmaiComment: This could be BW or color, the variety of textures is interesting without being demanding, the composition seems to be settling toward stagnant at first. After a while I decided it is the busiest minimalist comp I've ever seen. Adjusting my vote--up. |

as beauty diesby photorjpComment: At first I voted this a 5, but changed my mind (upward), not because of the uber-sharpness but because it reminds me of Rembrandt. Not that Rembrandt would paint bokeh, but you know what I mean. The natural light. The rich shadows. The faithful detail. It could be a little detail of some much larger work. |

Beautiful Blurby sekarmalathyComment: The handle of that fork (?) caught my eye right away. Very nice. The colors are a bit odd, but IMO the whole thing works because of the red in the upper R corner. Camera-motion blur is what this looks like to me, & I like it! |

all grown up by ursulaComment: ...& moving on. The blur adds to the storytelling. I wonder, are those the bright lights of the future on the horizon? |
