The starkly romantic contrast of white petals against the dark BG creates an intriguing mystery of light for my eyes to enjoy. The crisp green leaf emphasizes the alabaster whiteness. I am thinking of a full moon in a clouded night sky. Not a big fan of the letterbox border, so I am ignoring it. I had to laugh when I saw this, for I have taken a similar shot this spring, also white tulips. So I can especially admire the tones of white, the light in the petals, & the azure blue of the sky. Well done!
