Peuplier faux-tremble dans les Alpesby hahn23Comment: To my eye, you got a little outside your comfort zone with a fascinating capture & a good addition to your body of work. Well done. A detail shot like this can evoke the bigger picture effectively, with more emotion, than a simple shot of the bigger picture would do. I hope you take your 'street shooter' outlook into the mountains more often. |

There is always light at the end of the tunnelby AllenPComment: IMO that white horiz. line across the top is not doing this comp any favors, mainly because of that other white line that is part of the comp. I didn't see it, though, until after I enjoyed the light on the roadway, & the shadows. |

"My" Woodland Kingfisher (PAW 8/52)by HarveyGComment: Hooray! Smart bird, & a sweet shot (like all your bird shots). I know the birds watch me closely when I am doing yard work, for the same reason.
It occurs to me that your camera probably has GPS, so you have automatic proof that you saw this bird in your yard. How cool is that?! And it waited for you to run for your camera, too, how cool is that?!! Did you look around for his mate? |

Week 7 - Texturesby BeckyTComment: You're very good at finding textures, & I have an idea for you--see if you can find a texture in some light coming from the side. It will pick up detail in the texture that you can't see with the naked eye. Even in a plain sheet of white copier paper. |
