The Flying Pig HM
Oh yes. Divine light. Angel wings. Pearly gates. All share these colors, this simple elegance. Well done!
Thanks you for posting it. I don't get to award a Flying Pig very often, so double thank you! |

Symmetry in the Cemeteryby P-A-U-LComment: The camera angle makes a strong contribution to the fascinating charm of this comp. I've never before seen a man-made structure haunted by a tree. What an idea. The clear light & sharp focus add a quirky touch of reality to this hyper-real shot. Good work. |

Did Hannah see bees? Hannah did.by NordlysComment:
The Flying Pig HM
This may have started out as an orchid, it has the tactile presence of a flower that seems to always survive any PP. It works as a symbolic bee made of flower petals, but it also has a simple beauty that lets me admire it free of real world associations. The soft grainy nonspecific BG sets it off beautifully. The blacks are rich & the greys hold a lot of light.
I get few chances to award Flying Pigs, thank you very much for posting this lively comp for me to admire. |

The Doorby MelethiaComment:
The Flying Pig
I have enjoyed this, it is a treat to look at because it's not perfect. At first glance the symmetry is there, but as my gaze lingers I discover many little variations that upset the symmetry. It is this opportunity to look & discover that is a rare delight. Thanks for the treat!
Also, because I am familiar with this process, some of the pleasure in looking at this was in trying to figure out how you did it.
I like the colors, and the title. The variations that upset the symmetry also remind me of being outside, looking in thru the glass panel in the door at the distorted view of what's inside. Very nice. I don't get to award very many Flying Pigs, so this is a double treat for me. |

dendriticby bohemkaComment: I see a Raven, made of dendrites. The halo effect of the little twigs is lovely. |

Gaiaby EpsiComment: I had to google Gaia, & I found this "In Gaia philosophy, all lifeforms are considered part of one single living planetary being called Gaia." I like it.
The wiki aricle would've looked good with this as an illustration. |
