Day 06 - Croquettenby hajekaComment: Good job! I didn't immediately see the connection. Great lighting and props. I'm really surprised by the amount of crumbs on the packaging plate. Thats not usually something you see with a product shot.
I also think the salad bowl has to much prominence in the scene. Cropping some from the left side would allow the plate to take center stage. |

Lemon Tartletsby AliciaComment: Beautiful! The blackberries look larger than life. I bet these were scrumptious!
The creams are a little hot, but not to bad. The composition is fantastic!

Cooking 4.jpgby codfishComment: never been fond of popcorn. Carmel corn is a little bit better. Reminds me of when I was a kid. The one and only time I got to go trick or treating I got so many carmel corn balls. I was not happy about that! LOL (that was before the tainted candy scare)

dessert.jpgby laurie241Comment: I think your getting a lot of your color cast from the granite. Paired with some incandescent light source. The white dish isn't true white. In photoshop, go to levels and use the eye droppers to select a true white spot. It should really even out the tones. You can also go into the hue/saturation slider and choose the red channel. you can slowly desaturate just that hue to tone it down.

Cheeseby AliciaComment: This feels a little bit underexposed to me. Good focus on the crackers. The bokeh really tells a story in this. |

dough.jpgby laurie241Comment: No matter how hard I try, I have not yet gotten a decent batter bowl shot! Once you master white balance you will be doing great.
I shoot raw so I don't have to mess with wb all that much. Though the more you understand it, the better you will be.
