Trudging slowly over wet sand,
back to the place where your clothes were stolen,
this is the coastal town,
they forgot to close down....

Sigh - takes me right back to my uni years. I like the natural look - very much the UK in winter!

The expression on her face lends me to believe she is trying to figure out which floor she needs - like she's waiting for an elevator

Coming to comment a bit late I fear - you have received many good comments already. The sharpness and clarity is amazing. I'm loving reading your exif - 800 ISO clearly is perfectly usable on your D7000. Anyhow, I do agree with the other commenters about the crop, whilst you lose a bit of detail in v2, you do get a better context

wonderful clarity. I'm thinking with a 70-200 you were actually quite close unless you had a Teleconverter or it's heavily cropped? Strike my comments, I now read other comments and your response :) The hide was in the water - oh boy. Lovely looking bird and the colours in this just pop.

Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I actually prefer the uncropped version. Just shows, you can't please all of the people all of the time

Didn't make the connection on first glance, then when I looked a bit harder I burst out laughing. I'm not sure if that was your intended reaction, but I love the visual pun
