horsesby cginoComment: This is so beautiful. The effect is wonderful, but the underlying photo is really great to start with. |

Inclement Weatherby GermaineComment: I do so like your street shots, but when you throw an overlay into the mix, well then.... |

Kittehby pawdrixComment: Steve, now that is way too cute for a serious street photography challenge :)
But nonetheless, I do think it is rather lovely.

take a good look at yourself!by Ecce_SignumComment: Certainly one of the most imaginative, if not the most imaginative image in this challenge. Surprised it didn't score higher. But then am I? I don't understand the voting so probably I'm not surprised. |

Congratulations on 11th position.
Difficult to give much helpful feedback on this one, as for me, this was actually one of my highest scoring images. I think the composition is great, the editing works well for this, the only thing I wonder is perhaps the flash was too bright for this image? Certainly I was rather surprised it did not score higher than it did.

Retiredby BrinComment: Greetings from the Critique Club
Congratulations on 10th place in this challenge!
Great subject for the challenge, works really well, although I am wondering if this just happened to be out there in the middle of the countryside, or if you placed it there.
The composition is good, I particularly like the low perspective, but for me the processing spoils it a little. There is a rather unnatural look, I assume coming from the use of the shadow/highlight function. It leaves the sky particularly looking quite odd. Sort of like using tonemapping, but not to the same extent. (I know I never quite manage to get the sky right when using any kind of tone mapping/shadow/highlight adjustments).
I gave this a 6 during voting, because of the processing. Otherwise it would have been an easy 7 or even 8.
