Interesting image, although doesn't shout silhouette. But that's probably a good thing.

lovely street photography vibe here. I find voters on DPC like things a bit too literal. I submit images that I hope will score well as I'm a bit competitive, they are not always my favourite shots. But this really appeals to me.

Greetings again

Use of a square crop should simplify composition creating a good visual flow. Sadly, this image falls short in this. You have cropped off the leaf on the left creating a very distracting element, whether you did this in camera when shooting or when post processing makes little or no difference, the end result is what matters. This image is not improved by being cropped square. It feels very much like it was something shoe horned in without any real thought about composition. You are not alone in this, most images fell short in this challenge (for me). Yes, they met the challenge in that the image was cropped to 1:1. Were all the subjects suited to square composition/framing, not so much.

I gave it a 5.

Greetings from the critique club
It's been a very long time since i have looked here to see if there were any open requests, so thought I may as well respond since there are a few in the queue.

I think perspective was a difficult challenge because it's not easy to find something new that hasn't been seen 100 times before. The subject you chose is a very commonly used subject and nothing new. From my personal point of view putting it in portrait orientation didn't really work too well and I think horizontally orientated images do better generally speaking. I was also not a fan of the processing. I think the HDR look is a bit overdone generally on DPC. Still, you managed to keep the score above 6 so it's probably only me that hates HDR.

Nice Tibi! One of the few images that used the square crop effectively
