Before You Call For Service Checkby electrolostComment: I thought the idea was fairly interesting. It is a good study on textures and shapes.I think the exposure is good, maybe just a bit brighter. However, for me at least I find the scene a bit odd...why is there a cactus on the washer? It creates a very unreal photo, BUT I really like the geometrics quite a bit! |

Elegyby figaroComment: Hmmm, I thought I commented during the challenge. I really like the tones here and the ripples. The interesting pose of the duck also works extremely well. It all leads up to a good picture. My only suggestion and it is quite minor would be to brighten up the duck just a bit while keeping the same contrast (I would like to see more of those whites). |

sarahby magenmarieComment: I think the portrait part itself is marvelous. I think the issue is with the background. The reason isn't the processing but the frame the child is in. I think either starting at the horizon or just including would have helped. I'm not good with portraits myself, so this is just a guess.
Still it is a terrific moment and something to be happy for. |

Looking at me?by sulamkComment: I think the movement is wonderful. I will agree with Deb below, if you cut off the top I think it will make for a much better shot. The reason is you get the highlights out of the top. The highlight on the bottom are terrific especially since they mimic the bird's shape. I gave you a five in the challenge, so a bit better than your score, but it would socre a 6 or 7 I think if the top might have been cropped out. Good find nonetheless. |

Crashby JRalstonComment: I like the forms you went with. The different lines are nice. The reflections are a bit bright, I think in this case a polarize mihgt have helped. That is a spectacular wave you managed to capture. |

A Laugh To Settle The Last Minute Jittersby scarbrdComment: You know how to take shots, nuff said. This is a terrific moment on that special day. I think the composition is wonderful. I might consider cropping out the flowers, but the point here is the expressions which are great. Well you knew this would do poorly. Watch out on that average, ;) |

Party Cricketby RgarciaComment: ACtually, it is a good macro shot. I like the leaf of the right, but I like hard foundation lines in my shots. I might have preferred the other antennae in the depth of field but that would one of the few things I would change. |

ex·hil·a·ra·tionby smardazComment: Reminds me of a commercial in a way. I like the lighting and the feeling of motion. I think the only thing that gets me is that white stripe in the background. |

Art Appreciationby HipychikComment: I really like the mood of this frame. One of the things, is you can't be too sure of the emotion, are they observing the painting or having a breakdown. A bit to the imagination, but I think that is what makes it good! |

As the sun setsby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Congrats on the top 10 score, very rewarding for a FS. Wonderful tones and detail. Also a very nice sense of spaciousness. |
