Spring Timeby bmartuchComment: A beautiful photo. The repeating patterns and colors are stellar. The lighting is surperb and focus great. I like the use of depth here, but making the way you implemented is almost begging for the central focus to be a "different" flower or color (or maybe if all the other flowers were pure red). This is purely a subjective thing. Beyond this though, nearly everything is perfect. A terrific capture. |

Butterfly Camouflageby JuliBocComment: I love how there are just 3 main colors, black, red and green and the pop of yellow that comes through. Also how the colors repeat throughout the frame is a working plus. Very rich colors. I might have cropped just a bit off the bottom myself to remove the other yellow spots, but that is just a minor nitpick. Wonderful photo and glad it did well for you! |

California Baskingby noranekoComment: The exposure is spot on! As well a very nicely framed composition. I love the expression on the animal. I always think it is a plus when the animal can be humanized. For some reason the background seems a little wonky, a bit to grainy in some areas and a bit blurry in others, but just a minor nitpick. An excellent photograph! |

Ponte Vecchio, Florenceby raishComment: This is a wonderful photo. I really like the choice of colors and framing done here. Not sure if the color tint was added in post or natural but it really give it a good vibe. The composition is near perfect, though I think the sun coming off the column seems a bit harsh. Also, I think it is a tad over-sharpened for this resolution as the individual and the top column shows definite signs of jaggedness. Still, a terrific photo!
P.S. Much better than anything I was able to grab out of Venice. |

Iguana #3by BudComment: I like the use of the frame and lines you have created with the tree and the creatures back. These work really well. I like the lighting attempt here and it is a good dynamic. I do think the background is a bit busy, as the blue sky circles seems to take a way a bit. I think the white balance might have been just a little off. The biggest issue though it is too sharp, as the scales look un-natural as they get closer to the camera. |

Portrait of a Whitetailby RonRobertsonComment: I like how this is a portrait of a deer. You don't see many straight on photos, so it is a nice change of pace. I am not sure of the exposure, or if you were tyring to go high-key, but it does not work for me. I also think the background is a big distraction. I would also be tempted to cut a little more off the top so it isn't a centered. Still, it isn't your typical wildlife shot, which I like. |

Canadian Silver Squirrelby jessieComment: I think this is a case where it is either over-sharpened or cropped too much? I like the moment you caught the photo. The colors seems a bit muted, I would almost be tempted to change it to a B&W photo. The photo just seems too "digital" |

Northern Cardinal (American Goldfinch in background)by deanaComment: Colors are great in this photo. I think the photo is just too busy though, branches in front of the bird, and the other bird in the background. A little too centered for my taste. I also think a more uniform background woud have helped. |

A Female Cardinalby candersen10Comment: I really like the colors going on here. Both from the branches and the bird itself. I also like the moment you were able to capture the bird, the side look works well. I think the general composition is lacking. The background is a bit too busy, I think it would help to crop a bit more. Furthermore there is a branch eminating from the bird's head which really takes away from the shot. |

Full Houseby SJCarterComment: I love the color and contrast in this picture. Not sure about the wooden post, maybe a different angle? Also, so weird halo effect going on aroudn the birds. Average rating. |
