Bridging Night.......by NikonJebComment: Technically a well done shot. Not sure I like the borders myself, but that is such a minor thing. Good lighting and a nice fit to the challenge. |

Timonby levyj413Comment: A near perfect shot and a wonderful picture. I always think animals are one of the toughest to shoot and you did a terrific job. |

Jefferson and Washington(s)by levyj413Comment: Great work! Amazing shot. You have a great notion of visualizing the shot. Truly unique and glad it did so well for you
I am guessing the low scores were because it was "Basic" and many didn't deem it basic. Too bad it wasn't advanced, because some people just don't give the benefit of the doubt. |

Do I know you?by bmartuchComment: Never sure how people can dole out 1's for a FreeStudy. Well, I think this is a fun image. The color treatment works pretty well. It is one of those photos that grows on you the more you look at it. |

Lined up Waiting for the Morningby raishComment: I actually like the outtake a bit more, though the light trails are nice here. Good job on the nice placement. Simple pattern. A very nice image. |

So Large Against the Skyby raishComment: Tough voting crowd on this one. I think it portrays the challenge nicely. I like the balance of the frame here as well as the use of framing. Good textures and patterns. Shot is strange in the sense though it is f/22 it doesn't seem like f/22 (no star pattern). That is how I might have suggested a change, but you shot that way... |

Mind's Carouselby posthumousComment: The arm holding the camera always makes a good leading line. :)
A great picture though, I love the different light streaks in the photo. It really creates a sense of depth.
I can't believe how young you look, must be some time-reversing carousal.

Strobing LED, reflectedby snafflesComment: I like abstracts and I think the idea is a good one. I think the issue for this one for me is the use of space, with such simple colors without textures, I think there is too much dead space. Maybe putting this into a landscape format (cropping off the bottom) might have pulled it together better? Just a thought. Still I really like what you tried to do. A very different take on the challenge which is always a very good thing. Cheers. |

Girly Whirlyby levyj413Comment: Can't stress enough, wonderful composition. Unusual perspective really carries this one. A good photographer also takes multiple shots, and that is what I love here. |

Swingby xianartComment: Too bad about the DQ, I think you would have lost a lot of the appeal without the vignette effect though. Great composition. Love the blue/brown going on here. Might have preferred a bit more of the face but that is more a personal thing. A great shot. |
