Loved this shot in the challenge. Glad you received a nice score. Wonderful color, usually these scenes are done in b&w with the color so this is a wonderful change.

Personally, I thought this would have done much better. One of my favorites. Lovely burst of color and nice framing and detail.

Cool picture. You and avid hiker/backpacker? I am myself, the pack just reminds me of hiking. I think a tad more face would have been preferred, but it is a wonderfully composed image. I like it.

As for the streetlights, I believe that is just glare. You could try a polarizing filter. I think it has to do with longer exposures at night (could be wrong there).

Considering all the DNMC comments, you still managed to pull off a 5, not too bad if you think about it. I think it was a good take on the challenge, much harder than what the real challenge required in my opinion.

I had to cheat, I couldn't find Waldo. Good shot for the challenge. Interest overall is a little low, but fit into the challenge is terrific.A very nice warm feeling to the photo.

I don't know what all that Post stuff means, but it adds up to a nice shot. Something about this picture is very engaging/intriguing. can't quite put my finger on it, but it makes me want to look at it more. It's one of those photos that doesn't seem like much, but in fact is very deep. This has that "it" factor (do not confuse with "wow" factor).

Terrific shot for the challenge. Lovely lines and forms. Just a tad too "bright" for me, still an excellent showcase.
