Hou to backlight a flower naturallyby slaaksoComment: Pretty good attempt. I think it needs a bit more depth to get the bee in focus, especially if you are going for an all white background. A terrific score for your first challenge. Hope to see more. |

Under a Pastel Skyby KenComment: Bridges always a treat to look at. Love the colors here, different than your usually bold colors people convey in architectural shots. |

Natural Suspensionby colorcarnivalComment: Love the simple dangling little element. Seems like little dithering artifacts came into play (maybe because too much contrast?) Fix that and I think you would have been in top ten easily. This shot is a real grabber for attention because of the wonderful framing and the wonderful contrast between the light green and dark green in the background.
I just hate webs on the head too. |

The Unbearable Lightness of Beingby posthumousComment: I think dead things are tough for challenges, well at least for voters as some will feel squeamish. I think the bokeh is fine, though I have seen creamier but I doubt the votes notice that. The color palette is marvelous |

The ballet dancerby purpleflutterby13Comment: Personally, this is near perfect bokeh. The background is smooth and buttery without any harsh transitions. Some people love the little aperature circles for some reason even though it really isn't what bokeh is all about. |

Horse Powerby BAMartinComment: FYI, this shot shows a better example of "power" than my own. I think it is a wonderful working shot. A beauty and sorely under rated. |

OPPORTUNITYby snafflesComment: I like the very unique door/window. I haven't seen one quite like it. Nice little catch phrase to go with your theme. |

I'm So Blueby patio127Comment: Pretty blue on yellow combination. Very traditional framing adds a very nice movement to the capture. |
