Let me start out by saying very nice entry for this challenge. Beautifully done and very emotional in it's own right. The lighting here is exceptional and compliments the contrasts of your skintones nicely.
As I look at it I can't help but wish your girlfriend was looking either down at your arms protecting her or straight at the camera, just one of those things that is hindsight.
Again I am gonna say fantastic shot and well done. |

Wow fantastic focus here! The flower just pops out ther eat you. Only thing I'm not to sure of in the photo is the dark corner. My eye was pulled from the fantastic flower to the "black hole" of nothing so to speak. You might want to try cropping it just slightly different. In a whole though this is a fantastic entry. Nice work. |

As I look at this I am trying to figure out what would make it stronger and it hits me I'm looking at the sky and your actually vanishing point is not even grabbing my attention. The sky is your real attention grabber here. If you do follow the road when you get to the vanishing point you just suddenly find yourself in the clouds enjoying them.
In all its a nice photo the problem you have here is those clouds are grabbing the attention from the subject of the challenge. |

Best Foot Forwardby singaleComment: Critique Club
For starters I want to say very cute idea just needs a little tweaking to make it work around here. First since feet was the topic of the challenge I think it would have helped you to have all 5 toes showing on the one foot, I feel kind of robbed at not seeing that big piggie. =o)
No I am sure this little girl is probably not to steady yet on her feet and with that being said the person behind her was a necessity but since it was a members challenge you could easily have cloned the backround so that there was no distracting elements such as the space between the knees of the person holding her there.
The other thing that would really improve this for you is if you watch your lighting the shadow is a bit to strong on the shoe and just kind of blends in with the backround.
I do want to congratulate you on a very cute entry...I like to see the kid photos...I actually believe in an extra point for cuteness and innocence. I'll be looking forward to seeing more of Naila in coming challenges.

Transitionsby boomerComment: I understand completely where you are going with this and it has the potential to be outstanding. I'm sure you are probably having lots of comments about the graininess, which I'm sure the time of day had a lot to do with that, you might want to try using neat image on it. It will help smooth out the graininess. |

Devoted Prevailing Christiansby ladpupmoeComment: Critique Club
Overall it is a good idea, meets the challenge and has a strong appeal. What I don't like here is a SUNSPOT! There is a sunspot that could easily be touched up and would improve the overall image. Possibly had you touched that up you would have been looking at a 6 or higher. The title works well and was an excellent choice, it's just that sunspot the ruins the whole thing. |
