this feels a little dark to me. I wish that there was a strong focal point to the photo. A little lighter though and this would be perfect for one of the "find the differences" photo puzzles (which I am addicted to) :)

I know this is trying to be lighthearted and funny, I guess it just didn't hit my funny bone. Shots a little dark and busy for me. Cute idea though.

Well, I am not big on this photo for a few reasons. (aside from the subject matter). The lighting could have been done to brighten up both sides of the balloon and get rid of that funky grey/green/blackish grain that makes up the shadows. The background right side has some distracting highlights in it that pull my eye away from the subject too.

I like the dof between the purple balloon and the other balloons. It looks weird to me though as if it is wet. imo the bowtie part could be a little more in focus.

I like the clarity and the texture you can see on the surface. I like the red, but I feel that the green in the balloon could have been adjusted to compliment it more and brighten it up a bit.

This was a nice unique idea. I think execution could have been better. There is an overall color cast that makes this look too pink. Also, if you pull the subjects away from the wall a bit you can help get less shadows and also have the wall look more like a back drop and less like a wall. After that I would say brighten it up a bit and maybe even see how you like it with a black and white conversion.

I am going to comment on this as if it were in the zen shot, since I think that may be where you meant to enter it.

What a catch!! I like the color and of course the symmetry. I feel like it could be a tad sharper though. In zen on it's own merits I would have given a 6 or 7.

In the balloon challenge (in case I'm wrong and this is where you meant to submit to) I am giving this a 3 because I can't really tell that a balloon made this shape.

While this is a unique idea in the "popped balloon" category, the substance on the right side really didn't get stopped in action. It may have been better for me if most of it was more powdery like on the left.
