Footsy Bootsby BeetleComment: Omg, that is just too freaky. Really disturbing, but well done. |

Around and Aroundby MuppetComment: I think this is a poor photo, it's not apparent that the figure is spinning, and the b&w is dark and without much contrast. The only plus is the enormous dark eyes of the young man, which would be even more arresting if we could see them properly. |

"Presidential adviser are you within?" "Oh yes, kind sir, I sit and spin." U-hby raishComment: I think it's great that you tried to convey spin in the political sense -- I think you are the only one in the challenge to do that, so points for originality to you. On the other hand it doesn't really say "spin" unless you read the caption. There are a number of technical difficulties, too. The Bush figure seems out of focus, I guess the other figure is supposed to be Condi, but doesn't look like her. She also blends into the background. Is Bush standing on a leaf? Is that symbolic? Let us know! |

PIANO sicknessby greslizzzComment: This photo reminds me of one of those Dada photos, or like something out of a 30's movie. Simple but effective. |

Spin of TERROR!by tpbremerComment: I don't know what to think of this photo. It is interesting mainly because the fear on the girl's face is real. Therefore this seems cruel and exploitative. Good clarity, considering the spinning. The sky is a bit washed out, but technical aspects take a backseat to subject matter in this photo, I'd say. Fits the theme. Hurts that so many photos in this challenge used the same idea. |

Serenityby hallbillyComment: This doesn't seem still or serene to me, it looks like a half-eaten pear thrown in a pond (or a naked muppet snorkling). Sorry, it's getting late and I'm getting punchy. |

hold still - the makeup artist at workby m2iwComment: Fits the theme; nice composition and I like the red of the dress, the black of the shirt and the whiteness of her skin. Attractive model. It may be an illusion but her eyes don't seem as sharply focussed as other parts of the photo. |

Not even a whisper of a breeze.....by NikonJebComment: The tree is a good subject for a photo, though I think your results are a bit drab. It would also be nice if the photo was sharper, as that would really say "still." |

Heavy.by JasComment: I can't connect this to the challenge theme, sorry. Interesting concept otherwise. The white background seems to glare a bit. |
