Longing for Home by robaComment: On first draft, you get "best in show" from me, for the beauty of your photograph and for clearly conveying the challenge theme. Good luck, |

Galileoby littlegettComment: This looks really interesting, I wish I could see it! It looks like a channel changer pointing towards a make-up mirror against a parchment background. Am I close? ;-)
Sorry if I seem sarcastic, the truth is I suspect something is going on here that is worth seeing, but it is just too dark. |

The Second Coming of JMSetzlerby ArtysteComment: So much for anonymity... ;-)
Cute kid! Are his eyes really blue? It looks like you may have burned the edges of the iris -- they really pop. |

Fearby cregoComment: I don't see "Fear" here, but luckily I'm voting on photos, not on captions. Interesting face, good exposure on the beard and skin, overall pretty color palette. |

streets of mexicoby humanprotocoldroidComment: Great photo, I love the subject. I fear it is a bit oversharpened (or maybe that's just a result of resizing), but it's a minor technical fault considering the strength of the other elements. |

Stillnessby BudComment: Funny how the small plant anchors this photo. The colors are sensational here. A really strong entry and a 10 from me. |

Last trainby boodComment: One of my "10s". I love the lighting, and how the train and tracks lead the eye back to the lone tower in the distance, highlighted by a lighter sky. The hole in the clouds over the woman's head is like a spotlight pointing to her. A wonderful photo. |

Late Winter Stormby Judith PolakoffComment: I give this a 10 and hope it does very well. So many times it seems b&w is used to make a poor photo artistic, and worse, the conversion to b&w is often flat. This b&w seems fully integrated and necessary. The lone figure, the road sign, the flag, power lines, etc., and all that blowing white -- wow! |
