Fueling upby oskarComment: Cute idea, although it's not a true anachronism -- I think the definition of the word was unclear to many people. If the rider were wearing less modern clothing it might work better. I like the odd (coincidence?) that the green pump handle matches the green on the horse's bridle. You must have put some effort into arranging this photo shoot! |

The future is now !by AmasonComment: Perhaps not a true anachronism, as both man and location seem contemporary to me. Whatever the meaning, though, this is an interesting photo and conveys a sense of mystery which draws me in. |

v = 2.425by HeiSchComment: Fits the theme well enough, I think, though to call it a true anachronism might be inaccurate. My favorite thing in this photo is the hair! What a riot. |

It's a Shore Thing!by escapetoozComment: Really beautiful. Forgive me for saying so, but the anachronism is a bit too subtle: except for the barely noticeable Cinzano umbrella in the back, there's nothing here to indicate contemporary life. |

Ancestorby DefyTimeComment: This is one example when two objects from different time periods actually works -- maybe because they are not just placed side by side but are integrated into a concept. For a basically monochromatic image, this is surprisingly attractive. |

And the Future Lay Before us by FirstyComment: Good demonstration of an anachronism. I'm not a fan of sepia-type photos, but you've done a good job and the contrast is especially well done. |

Unfair Advantageby glodaComment: Excellent, clearly conveys the theme. Great location, the gun is just right (subtle, but not obscure). I love how the gun is lit, too.
My only quibble (a minor one) is with the right arm sleeve, which somehow blends/disappears and gives his arm a cut-off look. Anyway, very well done, good luck! |
