Day 5 - On a rainy dayby Alley CatComment: Well done on the color conversion. The green liquor really stands out. The cap color seems a bit soft at the edges. I barely noticed your thick black border -- I guess I watch too many letterboxed movies. :-) |

Vegetable Peeler Day 6by riversongComment: I'm not sure where you felt you messed up the cloning -- were you hoping to completely disguise the edge in the back? I guess that would be best, but this is striking as it is. The reflective surface is very cool. |

cinemaby silverfoxxComment: Greatly imaginative, though the technicals could use some improvement. Really needs better lighting (a fill or reflected light from the right, I think). |

A New Lightby ChinabunComment: Fits the challenge very well. The symmetry is somewhat marred because the eco bulb seems to be illuminated, while the other does not (and also appears to tilt a bit). |

Two good laysby BHusemanComment: I think this is too bright on the chips can and too shadowed on the woman's face. |

8. Ribbon Abstractby suemackComment: Very pretty! I thought I was seeing image noise in the background but now I see it is another layer of ribbon.
PS: This was my 500th comment! :-)

day 9 - clipby rachelellenComment: This is really neat, the black is deep and the plastic really stands out. Normally I think plastic is an ugly substance for photographs but here it looks more like glass. |

day 7 - nail clippersby rachelellenComment: I had to laugh when I read your notes. Sunday I hurt my back taking a photo of a cream pitcher! Something about the way I was bending to peer through the viewfinder.
Anyway, I like your composition and lighting. I agree you should clone out the spots, and maybe clean your lens or sensor. It could also be the backdrop -- I learned this week how easily posterboard becomes soiled. :-{
