I overlooked this before, but it really appeals to me now. What an interesting little boat -- I've never seen one like it. Good colors, well exposed, and of course I like all the water "above" the boat, which accentuates the boat's small size in a big body of water.

I was in Tiburon once, back in 1988 or so. Hard to believe it was so long ago now. I still recall sitting in an outdoor cafe late one afternoon. I was amazed at the size of the seagulls. And then the fog came down out of the hills in what seemed to me a very menacing way!

What I like about this photo is the lone woman. She is grainy and in shadow yet she is a strong presence. Her face blends with the rock, but then the way the light hits her legs is very strong.

Hey, this is really terrific. I love the colors, it is like seeing a bit of life in an otherwise dry world. The wall is high key without being blinding. The bit of grunge at the top helps ground this in reality.

Nice, at first glance I thought it was a flower or dried plant of some kind. Interesting textures.

I once was taking a photo of some everyday object on the street and a couple walked by. The woman asked the man "Why is he taking a photo of that?"

Moon Rise

I love seeing the moon in the daytime. This photo has really nice, soft colors. Pastel sky, earthier tones below, but they complement each other. The house seems to fit in well with the landscape, too. Excellent composition.

Whoa, Bud, that's awesome. Beautiful light both above and below. Oddly enough, I had the momentary impression that this was a staged set, and that the clouds were shadows from the tree on a backdrop.
