Clouds & Light Day 29by slaaksoComment: Beautiful shot. I love the colors. This tugs at my memory for some reason -- maybe from my time in HI? |

Busselton Jettyby emlbakerComment: Very nice, Mark -- the sky color makes me think you may have used a polarizing filter. |

Calling it a day.by glad2badadComment: The frame is so overdone, I wonder if it's to disguise a lack of sharpness in the image. However, the image is good and it will end up with at least a 6 from me. |

Old Crow in a Bird Bathby creek41256Comment: Sorry, DNMC at all, despite title. Not very sharp, and the horizon tilts a bit. I have to admit though that the subject is just unusual enough to make this eye-catching. |

Seagullby whiterookComment: Some problems here that could use correcting. Mainly, the bird is sort of blown out and not sharply in focus. Your composition is hurt by having the bird facing out of the frame. The horizon tilts, which can easily be corrected with a slight rotation. I also think the shot is over-processed or over-sharpened, I can't tell which, but the water looks too unnatural for my tastes. |

Crowded Lunchroomby bvyComment: It looks like they were walking away from you. I think it's better if the birds face the camera, unless there is something striking about their backsides. |

Oh to soar!by smurfguyComment: I try not to use this often, but seriously: DNMC. Maybe if in some fashion the skater's pose was bird-like, but that's not the case here. That said, nice sense of motion and I really like the dark blue background. |
