Day 04 - Back in Fashionby shalrathComment: The colorful balloons in the background make a nice visual echo to the letters in front, and the father and son illustrate "love" so nicely. |

Day 03 - Spottedby shalrathComment: Good job on the b&w -- and you managed to control the exposure despite the strong sunlight on their faces.
Sometimes in that situation ( after sizing up the subjects, of course), I'll show them the photo display and say something truthful like "I hope you don't mind, I'm practicing my street photography and you seemed like an interesting subject" (or whatever the case may be). I've offered to email people any photos, too, and have done so a few times.

Bright Girlsby pjangelComment: Good, colorful subjects for a candid! I like the color saturation though I think the skin tones are too red on the woman at the left. |

ildp.jpgby IraklisComment: For me this evokes a feeling of isolation and possibly unease. I like the darkness. |

victdp.jpgby IraklisComment: Really striking use of bold color contrasts, and I like the lone figure. Nice how the shadow at top and the black tile at bottom create a sort of "natural" letterbox frame. |

00003CFL_0644.jpgby ericwooComment: Of your first group of six, this is my favorite. It makes me curious as to what the two men are doing, and I like the guy looking on through the ticket window. |

tykesby tnunComment: I really like your subjects, and the contrast of the big legs next to the little children. It's odd, though, because above the fence rail the background is washed out. It almost seems like two different backgrounds. I might try cropping so the sky isn't visible, though of course you'd lose the veiny arm of the man on the left, which is an interesting detail. |

Morning Shaveby pawdrixComment: Another "from the hip?" Makes me think of Sylvia Plachy's old Village Voice series.
Btw, this year I started dry shaving some mornings. I know it's bad for the skin, but some days I can't be bothered with the full shave! |

Alone In A Crowdby bvyComment: Poor guy can't even pick his nose without it ending up on the internet. LOL
Great texture in his face, hands, and denim jeans. I like the well-manicured hand holding the purse, too. Something about the woman's presence adds to the "story" of this image. |
