Up For the Blockby jpochardComment: Per your request for more comments: from your description, it seems you are up against many technical challenges. I think You caught a good action moment. However, the players sort of compete with the background, so maybe what is needed is a narrower depth of field. I might also rotate the photo so the "horizon" is straight, though you would lose more of the edges. Another suggestion would be to have the ball (or maybe a key player's face) at one of the "rule of thirds" points. Right now my eye goes to the empty space in the net. |

Readby jdannelsComment: I like this outtake -- the weary commute (at least he has a seat). Might be more effective, challenge-theme wise, if he was more obviously a businessman, but it works. I like the b&w, too. |
