Hide and Seekby pollypanda2000Comment: This photo seems a bit odd to me, not just lacking clarity but almost pixelated. It may be you need experience in resizing photos for the web. |

Hmmm, top 8th, maybe. :-)
I think without the big empty space this would be much less effective. It was the soft pearl-gray background that really drew me in. Nice symmetry in the birds as well. |

Thank Youby boone168Comment: There's nothing about subject or composition that grabs me in this photo, but the clarity definitely highlights the texture at the focal point. |

Flamenco Sketchesby swaroskjiComment: Although I commend you for trying some unique objects, the textures aren't visible here. I'd like to see the grain in the wood at least. |

Mr. Personalityby colorcarnivalComment: Great shot. Lighting could not have been better! His ear hairs positively glow. Good and sharp focus as well. Best of all, he really does seem to be smiling right at you. "Mr. Personality" he is! |

The Drive of Fitnessby miminComment: You know, this is a lovely, colorful, sharp action shot, but it's in the wrong challenge (despite the caption). I also like the visual impact of the horizontal line dividing road and grass -- cool if it is the edge of the road, but more likely it is a border dividing the frame and therefore probably illegal, I'm sorry to say. |

woman in redby rinacComment: Yes, you did the right thing to crop this! Of course you probably knew it would tank with voters anyhow, but I'm glad you entered it anyway. Something nostalgic about the woman in red and the blur/grain. |

The Black Swingby Ecce_SignumComment: Evocative photo. I didn't expect this to do well, but it's one of the few entries in the challenge that seems like a gallery piece. Makes me think of a silent film -- something macabre. |

Untitledby Bernard_MarxComment: This was one of my favorites, sometimes I'm thankful just to see something different! I love all the period elements, but they don't seem crammed in or overdone. Beautiful model, too. A small anachronism: the barcode on the bottle. Nice work. |
