Hmmm, top 8th, maybe. :-)
I think without the big empty space this would be much less effective. It was the soft pearl-gray background that really drew me in. Nice symmetry in the birds as well.

Great shot. Lighting could not have been better! His ear hairs positively glow. Good and sharp focus as well. Best of all, he really does seem to be smiling right at you. "Mr. Personality" he is!

You know, this is a lovely, colorful, sharp action shot, but it's in the wrong challenge (despite the caption). I also like the visual impact of the horizontal line dividing road and grass -- cool if it is the edge of the road, but more likely it is a border dividing the frame and therefore probably illegal, I'm sorry to say.

Yes, you did the right thing to crop this! Of course you probably knew it would tank with voters anyhow, but I'm glad you entered it anyway. Something nostalgic about the woman in red and the blur/grain.

This was one of my favorites, sometimes I'm thankful just to see something different! I love all the period elements, but they don't seem crammed in or overdone. Beautiful model, too. A small anachronism: the barcode on the bottle. Nice work.
